Michele Arquette-Palermo: Chief Program Officer

Naples, FL – Michele Arquette-Palermo has been promoted to Chief Program Officer at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. She brings more than 20 years of education and advocacy experience to this position. Previously, she had been the Conservancy’s Water Policy Manager, where she provided primary leadership and technical expertise on natural resources issues, including water resources policy and Everglades restoration.

As the Conservancy’s Chief Program Officer, Arquette-Palermo will supervise Program Directors and Education Managers while ensuring activities align with the Conservancy’s mission and values. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning process, coordinating inter-departmental goals and objectives, growing and enhancing programs, and applying insights from program evaluation to strengthen conservation outcomes.
