Houston, TX — Keesha Bullock has joined Space Center Houston’s senior leadership team as its new Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO). She oversees the Center’s marketing and communications strategies, including business enterprises and audience evaluations.

For over 20 years, Bullock has led marketing and communications programs, directing stakeholder engagement and external relations that have resulted in exceeding fundraising, revenue and attendance goals. Her experience includes media relations, membership programs, market research, branding, government and regulatory agency review, and crisis communications.

Highlights of her career include leading communications and marketing at the Heritage Foundation and Prince George’s County Public Schools, both in the Washington D.C. area. For the last four years, she served as the Chief External Relations Officer at Buffalo Zoo in upstate New York. Keesha shepherded the Zoo through the COVID-19 crises while growing attendance and revenue for the most visited cultural attraction in Western New York.
