Gregory Hill: Executive Director

Gregory Hill

Albany, NY — Healthcare association leader Gregory Hill, JD, CAE, has been named Executive Director of the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA). Hill brings decades of experience in leading health care associations, most recently serving as Executive Director and CEO of the Colorado Dental Association, where he was dedicated to empowering over 3,300 member dentists to build successful practices and careers. Prior to that position, Hill served as Assistant Executive Director of the Kansas Dental Association.

During a time when the lingering effects of COVID, workforce shortages and rising costs of supplies are creating stress on the profession, Hill is committed to enhancing the NYSDA member experience by creating an environment where all dentists look to the organization first for their professional needs.

As Executive Director, he will work to increase and diversify NYSDA’s membership, support the Association’s component societies, and empower the success of all NYSDA members by investing in new dentist initiatives and focusing on aligning value to membership for early career dentists through oral health advancement, well-being programs, health equity and giving back to their communities.

The New York State Dental Association is one of the largest state constituents of the American Dental Association and represents more than 60 percent of dentists practicing in New York State. Founded in 1859, the American Dental Association is the oldest and largest national dental society in the world and serves as the leading source of oral health-related information for dentists and their patients.
