Berea, OH – Healthcare executive Brant Russell has been announced as President and Chief Executive Officer of OhioGuidestone, one of the largest behavioral health agencies in Ohio. Russell has extensive experience leading organizations that have a focus toward improving the outcomes of behavioral health and substance abuse. He will lead and grow this $98 million, multi-program statewide organization forward into even greater levels of service, visibility and impact.

Prior to OhioGuidestone, Russell served as Regional President and CEO of Ascension Providence Hospital and Brighton Center for Recovery, and COO of Ascension St. John Hospital in Michigan. He gained extensive experience in Northeast Ohio when he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Summa Barberton and Wadsworth Hospitals, part of Summa Healthcare, and system director of emergency/trauma service lines for Summa. Russell has held leadership roles with Fairview Hospital, part of Cleveland Clinic Health System, and MetroHealth Medical Center.
