Erin McLain is a Principal based in Denver, focusing on clients in Colorado and the Mountain West region, as well as engaging in a national search practice. For over 25 years, she has served the nonprofit sector, specializing in guiding organizations through critical periods of transition, growth, and senior leadership searches.

Erin focuses her practice on CEO and executive recruitment, with a particular emphasis on arts and culture, youth development, education, conservation, and health and human services. Her executive portfolio includes notable leadership engagements with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Parkinson Association of the Rockies, Mile High Down Syndrome Association, Harvest of Hope Pantry, the Rose Andom Center, and Denver Tennis Park.

Prior to joining Kittleman, she had a distinguished career as an organizational transition specialist, having completed 22 engagements as an Interim Executive Director. Her talent lies in stabilizing operations and working collaboratively with boards and search committees to secure elite permanent talent.

Erin also brings a strong corporate background, having previously worked as an Account Executive and Marketing Specialist for SAS Software, where she managed relationships with C-level clients and was a top sales executive.

A deep dedication to her community is demonstrated through her civic footprint, which includes volunteer engagement with Project Angel Heart and The Delores Project. She is an alumnus of Leadership Denver (Class of 2006) and was recognized as a Bonfils-Stanton Livingston Fellowship Finalist. Erin received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, skiing, tennis and the Colorado sunshine.
