Eric Stillman

The Florida Holocaust Museum has appointed Eric B. Stillman as its new President & Chief Executive Officer, a leadership announcement that comes as the organization prepares for its highly anticipated reopening and next phase of growth. Stillman officially joined the Museum on June 1, 2025, bringing more than three decades of executive leadership, fundraising, organizational development, and Jewish communal service experience.

Stillman will lead the Museum’s efforts to expand its visibility, strengthen educational programming, deepen community engagement, and ensure the long-term sustainability of one of the nation's most respected Holocaust education institutions. As The Florida Holocaust Museum prepares to unveil renovated and reimagined spaces, he will guide the organization through a pivotal period of strategic growth and impact.

Prior to joining the Museum, Stillman served as Chief Development Officer for the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. He also co-founded Triovate Analytics, an organization that leverages predictive analytics and mathematical modeling to help identify and prevent antisemitism and other forms of hate.

Throughout his distinguished career, Stillman has held numerous senior leadership positions within the Jewish nonprofit sector, including CEO of the Jewish Federation and Jewish Foundation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans. He also held leadership roles with the Jewish Federation of Rhode Island and the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

A recognized fundraising and organizational leader, Stillman has raised more than $155 million through annual, capital, endowment, sponsorship, and planned giving campaigns, securing multiple transformational gifts in the seven- and eight-figure range. He has managed substantial organizational assets, directed teams of up to 65 employees, overseen multimillion-dollar operating budgets, and led major community initiatives, including disaster recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina. 

Stillman has also built a reputation as a passionate advocate for Holocaust education, combating antisemitism, and strengthening Jewish communal life. In announcing his appointment, he emphasized the importance of preserving Holocaust memory and ensuring future generations understand the consequences of hatred and intolerance.
