Accomplished leader Audrey Chapuis has been selected as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tampa Bay History Center, a premier cultural institution dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the Tampa Bay region through engaging exhibits, scholarship, and community programs. Audrey Chapuis brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of cultural leadership, nonprofit management, library and information science, and educational programming.
Audrey Chapuis comes to Tampa Bay History Center from The American Library in Paris, an independent nonprofit and the largest English-language lending library on the European continent focused on public scholarship and cultural engagement. During her tenure as Executive Director, she led strategic initiatives that expanded public programming, strengthened institutional sustainability, and enhanced community outreach and partnerships.
Prior to her time at the American Library in Paris, she held leadership roles at educational and cultural organizations including Northwestern University’s Pritzker Legal Research Center, contributing to academic library services and cultural policy initiatives.
Audrey’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a concentration in English and American Literature, a Master’s in Library and Information Sciences, and an Executive MBA focused on digital transformation. She also serves on the boards of international educational and civic organizations, reflecting her commitment to global cultural exchange and public engagement.
