A recognized advocate for progressive animal welfare practices, Pagoulatos is actively involved with organizations including Human Animal Support Services (HASS), The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, and Utah’s Pet Task Force Emergency Response Team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Lehigh University and is known for building collaborative cultures focused on innovation, community engagement, and sustainable impact.
Maui Humane Society is the only open-admission animal shelter on Maui, providing sheltering, adoption, veterinary, foster, rescue, and community support services that improve the lives of animals and people across the island.
