Amy Smith

Amy Smith brings a rich history of experience with nonprofits, executive search, organizational consultation and a specialized expertise in highly sensitive leadership turnover. Since 2010, Amy has been in the executive search industry and has led searches for CEO, executive and senior level leadership positions for youth and adult social services, LGBT organizations, foundations, healthcare, museums, and professional and trade associations.

Prior to joining Kittleman & Associates, Amy was Founder and Managing Director of ACRS, an executive search firm based in the Greater Philadelphia region. Her career in the nonprofit sector began at The Center for Grieving Children and Their Families, a family services agency that provides counseling to children and families that have lost a parent or close loved one.

Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stockton University. She has served as a mentor at West End Neighborhood House, whose mission is to help economically and culturally diverse individuals achieve self-sufficiency, as well as a Board Member of the Delaware Center For Justice, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the quality of justice through advocacy, policy, and practice. Amy has also been integrally involved with the city of Philadelphia's initiatives to help raise awareness and provide stable housing for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. Amy is on the steering committee of Women in Nonprofit Leadership, is a committee member for CASA Philadelphia, an organization that advocates for children in foster care, and a member of the Philanthropy Network.
