Founded in 1971, Epilepsy Alliance Florida (EAFL) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and Florida's leading advocate and comprehensive service provider for individuals living with epilepsy and seizure disorders. For more than five decades, the organization has worked to improve quality of life for Floridians affected by epilepsy through education, advocacy, direct services, and community support. As a co-founder of Epilepsy Alliance America, EAFL is part of a national network of community-based organizations dedicated to advancing care, awareness, and opportunities for those impacted by epilepsy.

Epilepsy Alliance Florida seeks a strategic, relationship-driven, and mission-centered CEO who will provide leadership for its strategy, people, programs, finances, partnerships, and statewide presence.
EAFL is poised for a dynamic new chapter, offering a strong foundation for an experienced executive who is energized by mission, growth, and meaningful statewide impact.
The candidate EAFL seeks will be an accomplished, mission-driven executive who will build on Epilepsy Alliance Florida’s distinguished legacy while confidently guiding the organization into its next era of impact and innovation. Direct epilepsy experience is welcome but not required; curiosity, humility, and the capacity to learn the field are essential. Knowledge of Florida, especially South Florida, would be highly valuable, as would the ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the state. Spanish language fluency would further strengthen engagement with many of EAFL’s constituents, partners, and prospective supporters.

The annual compensation for this role will be $205,000-$250,000 commensurate with experience.
