Andres Ambriz: Vice President of Facility Operations and Capital Projects

Houston, TX – Andres Ambriz has joined Space Center Houston as Vice President of Facility Operations and Capital Projects. In this role, Ambriz will provide leadership and planning for all construction projects, lead current building operations, and guide the facilities, mechanical, custodial, security, and events teams as well as oversee contractors for future expansion projects.

Most recently, Ambriz served as Vice President of Global Operations for SeaWorld. He has more than 25 years of experience in theme park development and operations at SeaWorld and Disney and has been part of teams that have designed, delivered, and opened five attraction parks. Prior to his current position, he spent six years helping lead the team responsible for creating, building, and opening the award-winning SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, featuring the world's largest aquarium, a state-of-the-art conservation and education center, and cutting-edge technology to connect guests with the animals. His breadth of experience also includes management roles in finance, food and beverage, and retail.
