Lisette Le • Principal
Lisette has over 16 years of experience in community organizing, civic engagement and advocacy at the local, city and state levels. Growing up in Ohio as a first-generation Vietnamese American, she experienced firsthand the struggles that immigrants and low-income communities faced. She is committed to building a vibrant, civically-engaged Vietnamese community and training young people to become leaders in the community.
Before joining Kittleman and Associates, Lisette was the Executive Director of VietAID, a hybrid community development corporation and social service organization in Boston. Lisette led the organization through structural deficit to a growth-based organization. VietAID serves over 2,000 individuals each year through the following programs: affordable housing development, bilingual pre-school, youth development, social services and older adult programming.
Previously, Lisette was the Director of the Massachusetts Voter Table (part of State Voices network), a non-partisan statewide coalition of community and advocacy organizations that seek to build the political power of low income, new citizens, young people, and communities of color. She led MA Voter Table through a strategy visioning process, growing the organization’s clout and expanding the network of affiliated organizations. Additionally, she worked at Right to the City Boston and the Chinese Progressive Association where she worked on issues of affordable housing, land use, bilingual ballots, and voting rights.
Lisette holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in American Studies. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and three young children.
