Tracey Moorhead: President and CEO

Denver, CO – Tracey Moorhead has been named President and CEO of the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN). Moorhead will also lead AAPACN’s subsidiary associations, the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) and the American Association of Directors of Nursing Services (AADNS). She is based in Washington, DC to further advance AAPACN’s initiatives in quality improvement, advocacy, and leadership.

Moorhead brings nearly 20 years of healthcare and post-acute care association leadership experience, serving most recently as President and CEO of ElevatingHOME and a subsidiary, the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA). Prior to VNAA, Moorhead served for eight years as President and CEO of the population health management industry organization, Care Continuum Alliance.

She received an M.A. and B.A. from The George Washington University.
