Rochelle Rothwell: President and CEO
Holly, MI– Rose Hill Center, a psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation facility offering a comprehensive range of services for adults with serious mental illness, has announced Rochelle Rothwell as its President and CEO.
Throughout her career, Rothwell has worked to provide patients with better care in both for profit and nonprofit settings. With almost 20 years of leadership in health care operations, she will focus on continuing the nation’s public dialogue about mental illness in an effort to remove stigma and increase access to care.
Rothwell joins Rose Hill from Canterbury-on-the-Lake, an independent and assisted living community, where she was Executive Director and CEO for more than seven years. Previously, she was Executive Director/Regional Director of Operations for Tennessee-based Brookdale Senior Living.
Rose Hill Center, established in 1992, provides a highly effective residential rehabilitation program for adults with mental illness. It was founded on the belief that recovery can take place when people receive professional psychiatric care, participate in meaningful daily activity, and engage in their own treatment program. Residents are guided through a therapeutic program that helps them manage their symptoms and provides them with an opportunity to achieve their highest level of independence. The center’s therapeutic work programs, including a well-established horticulture program, are essential to its mission.
