Rachel Petrucelli: President

Rachel Petrucelli has been appointed President of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation (http://www.chp.edu/news/121018-new-foundation-president). Petrucelli, who served as Interim President of the Foundation since April 2018, brings more than 25 years of fundraising experience, leadership, and development strategy in pediatric healthcare and education to her new role.

Petrucelli joined Children’s Foundation in September 2004 and has served in various leadership roles during her 14 years, including Director of Major Gifts and Annual Giving; Senior Director of Principal Gifts; Associate Vice President, Major and Principal Gifts; Vice President of Development; and Senior Vice President of Development and Chief Development Officer.

Petrucelli joined Children’s Foundation in September 2004 and has served in various leadership roles during her 14 years, including Director of Major Gifts and Annual Giving; Senior Director of Principal Gifts; Associate Vice President, Major and Principal Gifts; Vice President of Development; and Senior Vice President of Development and Chief Development Officer.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Petrucelli held various development positions at the University of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Public Theater, and the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Petrucelli received a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation is the sole fundraising arm of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, providing financial support for the hospital’s mission of excellence in patient care, teaching, research and advocacy.
