Maureen Beauregard: President & CEO

Manchester, NH – Long-time Manchester community leader Maureen Beauregard has been selected as President & CEO of Easterseals New Hampshire, the largest independent statewide Easterseals in the country.

Most recently, Beauregard was President of Families in Transition – New Horizons which under her leadership has become New Hampshire’s largest organization providing shelter, housing, food and services for homeless families and individuals. Among her many accomplishments since she founded Families in Transition 27 years ago, Beauregard has transformed the organization from a small agency with five transitional apartments to overseeing the development of over 200 units of housing in four geographic locations as well as the creation of two social entrepreneurial business ventures to support the agency’s mission. Prior to Families in Transition, Beauregard worked for the State of New Hampshire’s Division for Children and Youth Services as a social worker for abused and neglected families.

Throughout her career, Beauregard has received numerous awards including the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year, Southern New Hampshire University’s Loeffler Award, and University of New Hampshire’s Granite State Award. Under her leadership, Families in Transition was awarded the Business NH Magazine’s 2013 Nonprofit of the Year.

Easterseals New Hampshire (ESNH) provides exceptional services to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. As a leader in social services for individuals with disabilities and special needs, it serves more than 25,000 children, adults and seniors every year. As a multi-state organization, ESNH has 13 core programs and includes subsidiaries Easterseals Vermont, Easterseals Maine, and the Farnum Center.
