Kelly Circle: Executive Director
Indianapolis, IN – The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA), one of the largest organizations in the world dedicated to veteran service, has selected Kelly Circle as Executive Director. She has served on a variety of American Legion Auxiliary district and department committees and as Second District Vice President and President as well as on the Government Staff at ALA Girls Nation.
Circle has spent the last 13 years in higher education administration and has 20 years of experience teaching at the post-secondary level. Most recently, she was Dean of Instruction at Red Rocks Community College, in Lakewood, Colorado and before that, Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences/University College at DeVry University in Kansas City, Missouri. Her experience also includes acting as Business Manager for Air Methods Corporation and Field Service Manager for the Personnel Group of America.
The American Legion Auxiliary supports The American Legion and honors the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. The ALA continues to advocate for veterans, educate citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace, and security. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, the organization consists of nearly 625,000 members in 6,800 communities across the United States.
