Josh Henderson: CEO
Lakeland, FL – Recreation, tourism and hospitality executive Josh Henderson has joined Bonnet Springs Park as Chief Executive Officer.
Henderson brings a passion for providing world-class recreational experiences at natural and aquatic recreation facilities, including Six Flags-Whitewater in Atlanta and the Silver Springs in Ocala, FL. He returns to Florida after serving as Vice President of Revenue at Gathering Place, a 66-acre riverfront park in Tulsa, OK, which welcomed over 3 million guests in its opening year.
Henderson’s career in recreation, tourism, and hospitality has spanned seven states over the past 20 years. In his most recent position at Gathering Place, he led efforts to focus on in-park revenue generation to offset the use of the organization’s endowment funds.
Henderson plans to work with community leaders and volunteers to build Bonnet Springs Park into a point of pride for all who live in Lakeland and Central Florida while providing world-class recreational experiences.
