Johnny Cooper: Chief of Philanthropy
Oak Brook, IL – Johnny Cooper, CFRE, has been appointed Chief of Philanthropy for Lions Clubs International Foundation, the official charitable organization that supports the local and global humanitarian efforts of Lions Clubs International.
Cooper’s career in fund development has been dedicated to impacting the lives of others, primarily through global health in East and Southern Africa, Central and South American, and Southeast Asia.
Highlights of his career include serving as Director of Corporate Partnerships for Orbis International, an NGO that fights avoidable blindness; Director of Business Development for Global Health Corps, a leadership development organization focused on global health equity; and Senior Development Officer of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships for the American Red Cross.
Cooper received a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science from Thomas Edison State University.
He assumed his responsibilities as Chief of Philanthropy for Lions Clubs International Foundation on April 30, 2018.
