Jason Clark: President & CEO

Park Ridge, IL – Disabilities advocate Jason Clark has joined Avenues to Independence as President and CEO. Avenues to Independence provides homes, jobs and community living opportunities in the Chicago area for adults with physical, intellectual, and other developmental disabilities.

Motivated by helping people with disabilities achieve their personal goals and outcomes, Clark brings more than 20 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations in Illinois. Most recently, he served as Chief Program Officer of Adult Services at Little City Foundation, a $30 million agency serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During his tenure, he provided leadership to more than 370 staff members across adult residential, community day and employment programs and was instrumental in growing revenues six-fold in supported employment programs between FY15 and FY20.

Clark has also served as Director of Employment & Day Services at Sertoma Center and Director of Developmental Disability Services at the Pioneer Center for Human Services. He began his career as a Direct Service Professional serving children at The Larkin Center.

Avenues to Independence provides homes, jobs and community living opportunities in the Chicago area for adults with physical, intellectual, and other developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Its goal is to provide work and living opportunities enabling those with disabilities to be as independent as possible.
