Naperville, IL – Andrea Ingram has been named President & CEO of DuPage Children’s Museum. She brings a passion for lifelong learning and early childhood education to this role and extensive experience as a cultural institution thought leader, social service agency executive, and public policy advocate.

Ingram joins DuPage Children’s Museum after serving for 13 years as Vice President of Education and Guest Services at the Museum of Science and Industry where she was responsible for all aspects of the Museum’s guest experience as well as programs that inspire youth to become the next generation of innovators and scientists. During her tenure, she developed the nationally recognized “Welcome to Science Initiative”, a $10.5 million annual investment in science education designed to remove barriers that prevent underserved and underrepresented youth from achieving their full potential in science and engineering.

DuPage Children’s Museum, a national force for early learning, ignites the potential of all children to learn through hands-on exploration by integrating art, math, and science. The Museum welcomes over 300,000 visitors annually and offers world-class exhibits, innovative in-house and off-site school programs, a regional community access network, inspiring events, and a prestigious research collaborative.
